New State of Equilibrium, an expanded continuation of my diploma project which compiles three years of research and visuals. Its core themes revolve around the intersection of spirituality and resistance movements, as well as the exploration of alternative visions for social and political reform such as decentralization, anti-globalization and return to autonomous, self-governed, local communities.The project attempts to question and investigate the mechanisms and limitations of our cognitive and sensory perception. By emphasising the simultaneous presence of the visible and the invisible, I seek to challenge the secular, materialistic worldview which still seems to prevail in our Western culture.
Published in a limited edition of ten copies, each featuring a unique cover, the book was presented during the Pla(t)tform 2022 event at Fotomuseum Winterthur.
