A special fashion show commemorating Tomasz Ossolinski’s 30-year career took place at the iconic Spodek stadium in Katowice — Ossolinski’s hometown in Poland’s Silesia region. The show was accompanied by Ravel’s timeless “Bolero,” performed by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Adam Sztaba. The piece unfolded in a cyclical, march-like rhythm for 17 minutes, with the ostinato repeated 339 times. The choreography revolved around a massive, circular screen measuring 7.5 meters in diameter, where our animation, created by Thomas Le Provost and myself, was projected. The inspiration behind it alludes to permeation, pulsation, color, and the cyclicality of natural phenomena undergoing constant evolution, transformation, and rebirth.

New State of Equilibrium, an expanded continuation of my diploma project which compiles three years of research and visuals. Its core themes revolve around the intersection of spirituality and resistance movements, as well as the exploration of alternative visions for social and political reform such as decentralization, anti-globalization and return to autonomous, self-governed, local communities.The project attempts to question and investigate the mechanisms and limitations of our cognitive and sensory perception. By emphasising the simultaneous presence of the visible and the invisible, I seek to challenge the secular, materialistic worldview which still seems to prevail in our Western culture.
Published in a limited edition of ten copies, each featuring a unique cover, the book was presented during the Pla(t)tform 2022 event at Fotomuseum Winterthur.
